What Fringe is Ideal for Curly Hair?

I have a dilemma with my hair ...

It is really curly, and goes into really nice ringlets, which I love!

However, what do I do with the front of my hair? At the moment I have a kind of ... chunk of hair I brush over so it's sort of a side fringe but in truth it looks like a rat tail! I can't really have a block fringe either, as it curls up and I end up with ringlets on my forehead, which doesn't look exactly great.

What would you recommend?
