What Can I do With Curls?

Dear Nicole,

I've had tight, frizzy curly hair for my whole life but have never thought of really styling it; I always wanted straight hair! I really want to be able to have my hair out, but my hair is just too frizzy, curly and tight. Is there a way to get loose curls?
