You have beautiful curls! I can see why you love them!
Any time you lighten your hair you run the risk of drying it out more and altering the curl pattern.
I think blonde would look nice on you.
I would be cautious of doing an all over blonde. Your hair is pretty dark. This means when your roots come in, after you color it blonde, you will really notice it. I have some clients who color their roots every 5 weeks. You have to ask yourself: Is that something that you have the time and money for?
Another option would be to do a very heavy foil highlight. Going this route helps keep the dimension in your hair. Keeping the dark in your hair gives your eye something to bounce off of when your roots start coming in, making the roots less noticeable.
Whatever you decide, have a good deep treatment plan in place. I recommend doing a deep treatment 2-3 days before you color and 7-10 days after!
