Nicole's Answer:Dear EmilyThese two looks are very popular right now.
To achieve this look with very thick, frizzy, curly hair you will need a bit of prep work. First, straighten your hair, it doesn't need to bone straight because you want a little wave. (Use a good straightening product.)
Then, you can either use a big curling iron or hot rollers.
Use an inch to an inch 1/2 size curling iron barrel and curl all of your hair, in separate vertical sections.
Or you can set you hair in big hot rollers. I would shoot for 1-2 inch size hot rollers. When rolling your hair I would not be worried about rolling the rollers all the way to your scalp, because each of the photos you sent shows the curl lower on the hair, not high big hair.
Good Luck!
Enjoy. Nicole
