It is hard for me to give you a good analysis without seeing your hair and face shape. From what you tell me: you have a long face and thin long hair.
In this case I would suggest a hair length anywhere between your shoulders and ears.
Careful, this can be dangerous territory for some curly hair so make sure your stylist either bevels or layers the ends of the hair and cuts with the curls to eliminate the dreaded pyramid hair.
