Chanelle's QuestionI have extremely long, really curly hair. I just don't know what to do with it. My hair is so BORING! And it's frizzy in the morning. What can I do?Hi Nicole,
I'm a young teenager with extremely long hair. Its just above me butt. My hair is also really curly. I have a long face. And I just don't know what to do with it.
I don't know if I should get bangs? Layers? Or whatever else?
I love my long hair though. I'm not really thinking of cutting lots off. (Just a couple inches)
But I'm asking for your advice. And I would really appreciate it. My hair is so BORING!
And one other question, when I wake up my hair is really frizzy and what so ever. I'm wondering what can I do, if I have to rush out of the house real quick?
Can't wait to hear from you! :)
Thank you. Chanelle
Nicole's Answer:Dear ChanelleWow! Your hair is long!
I would suggest reconsidering the idea of cutting a bit more than an inch or two off. To really create a great looking head of long hair and eliminate the "boring" hair, you need to take some length off and put some long layers in!
You are really in a great situation because of the length of your hair.
You have the ability to change a child's life. I don't know if you have heard about "Locks of Love" but they take donated hair and make wigs for kids without hair. It's a great cause and they only need 10 inches.
So, I figure if your hair is to your bottom; 10 inches off will take it up to your mid back which is the perfect length for long stylish hair. Taking off at least 10 inches will also give your neck and hair follicles a rest.
To help eliminate the frizz make sure you're applying the product in really well. Refer to my other Q&A on curly-hair-styles-magazine.com for more frizz control ideas!
Best Wishes, Nicole
