Definitely do NOT stop using shampoo!
by: Kayla

I tried that back in high school to take the frizz from my hair, but it just became filthy and the oil-build up from just using conditioner was unattractive and bad for my skin.

When I started shampooing every other day or every other two days, it began to get better.

It depends on how dry your hair is, though. If you do a conditioning treatment every other week, it will help, as well.

Hope it works out for you!

Try this
by: Randy

Try shampooing every 4-5 days and condition every day. Don't blow dry it if possible, just scrunch it as it dries on its own. The more product you use, the more you have to watch for buildup (and then you're shampooing again) so work for a balance. Good nutrition, exercise, and habits also help your hair. Circulation at the scalp is important.

Good luck and enjoy the curls!
