Yes, side swept bangs and curly/wavy hair go hand in hand!
I like to relax the bang section by using a round brush. Then take a 1/2 inch curling iron. Take the bang section in the curling iron and roll it up, not under, this will create a little movement and "spice" to the bangs. Play around with how much curl you put in the bangs. After you curl the bangs, take your hand and lightly pull the curl out to the desired wave and spray with hair spray if you wish.
Best of luck, Nicole

Curly Hair and Bangs :D by: Danielle
I have curly hair and had side swept bangs for about 4 or 5 years. I absolutely loved having them. They just added something a little different.
I just parted my hair and blow dried with a diffuser how I normally would and then just kind of blow dried the bangs downward and then straightened them. I got so many compliments on my hairstyle and I thought they looked real nice.
Hope this helps!

Keep the Curls. Get the Bangs! by: Me!
I have the same type of hair and the same style!
Get some sideswept bangs. I know it's kind of a preppy in-style kind of bang but it's the one that looks best with curly hair. Add some color if you want. I had pink once and it looked pretty rad. :) Thinking about going purple now!
Dress it up with head bands or little bow clips or something (you can find a lot of cute hair things at Hot Topic or Forever 21). Dressing up in the punk/emo style will bring out the edginess of the bangs and curly hair. And pulling girly hairstyles with emo/punk clothes will create a more unique look.
Whatever you do, just rock it with confidence and it'll work out!

Would You Be Willing to Straighten It? by: Anonymous
If you like the emo style you might have to straighten your hair every day. If you don't straighten it all the time, you could put it in a high pony and straighten only the bangs. Your best chances are to go with color. Maybe red or purple?
