Short curly hair cuts offer advantages, definitely! But beware - you need to know certain things before you rush out and get one
The good news is that on a day to day basis, short
curly hairstyles are really low maintenance. After
all, curls don't have to hang in line like those
straight cuts - a tousled look is all part of the
fun.
As long as you keep your hair healthy, your curls
will naturally bounce and shine. You can't really
have a bad hair day.
There is one maintenance angle you need to consider,
though. Any short style needs regular trims to keep its look. You'll
be going back to the stylist every four to six weeks.
But a more significant issue you have to consider
is this - short styles suit certain face shapes
and not others.
You'll find more pictures hair styles
at the bottom of this page. Have a look at them.
If you see a hair cut you like, try to decide what
attracts you to that image. Study the photo. See
if you can work out what it is that makes the style
in the picture look so good.
What face shape does the model have? How does her hair enhance that shape? Does it reveal
the whole face? If not, what parts does it hide,
and what features does it show off?
Does it lengthen the face? Make it broader or narrower?
Understanding other faces and the hair styles that
suit them will help you to enhance your own looks.
If you study these pictures of short curly hair
cuts with a critical eye, the knowledge you gain
will make it easier to choose your own style.
