There are a couple things you can do to help your hair have a bit more balance.

First, you could use a curling iron. Find a curling iron with a barrel close to the size of your curl. Then, curl the side that is a little longer to mirror the curly side.

Another option would be to get a perm on the side that doesn't curl very much. Use a rod that is similar to the curly side. Remember the perm will loosen so you might want to use a rod size just smaller than the tighter curl you have naturally. I would leave it up to your stylist to decide what rod size to use.
