Natural Curly Hair

My hair is naturally curly. I was born with it as both of my parents have curly hair. My mum's hair is afro and my dad's hair is curly when he lets it grow, so I was just born with a mixture of both I guess.

I hated it when I was younger cause people used to take the mick out of me for it. But gradually everyone got used to it and so have I, and now I love it. I do my best to make it as big and as wild and as healthy and curly as I can !!!

Your mom's hair's afro? My hair's naturally afro. Lucky you you came with that great mix, because you do have naturally beautiful curls and I don't, I have to "fabricate" some of my own lol.

My dad's white, European with straight thin hair, my mom's black African with afro hair, and guess what ... uh uh, no mix for me. My skin is very light. If it wasn't for the hair, people would think I'm white.

I was born in Africa but came to Portugal as a baby and grew up here, so I never felt African at all lol. As a kid I hated when my friends and people around used to say that my hair was fluffy (and they used to say it in a good way), and my classmates used to joke a lot with me too. I dreamed about my hair being straight for quite a long time. So til now I've hated all fluffy and volume and frizzzzzzzzz things associated with hair lol
