Pregnant curls
So I have really temperamental hair that chooses when it wants to be curly.
It went curly when I hit puberty, and everyone thought I'd got a perm, and accused me of lying when I said it was natural. I was told by a few that I had model hair.
Then it slowly returned to a big body wave in my college years.
Shortly after I had a son and my hair went straight. I was pretty bummed about this since I had grown to love my curly hair. A year after that I got pregnant with a daughter, and surprise, she brought my curl back!!! This is a picture of my pregnancy curls. I have heard that estrogen plays an important roll in women getting/losing curly hair. Which makes sense in my case, since I noticed a significant difference all around times my hormones were going crazy.
One more thing. I have lots of secrets about getting fabulous curls (actually they are not secrets at all, I divulge them to anyone willing to listen). I have also helped many girls who feel like they have nothing more but wavy or frizzy, unmanageable hair to bring out shiny, thick, bold curls. So if you have any questions, feel free to ask me.
