My hair is actually a lot like yours except shorter. I use "Catwalk's Curls Rock Curl Amplifier" in my hair. Works great!

Have you tried to use some products? I have long curly hair as well but the products I use give me a big curly hairstyle similar to that of Beyonce and Shakira when they go natural. PPS products are great and Redken Curl Creme.
