For years I fought the curl, then it became fashionable, then it didn't and now, it still isn't!
I haven't got any straighteners and don't intend to get any. I teach in a secondary school and, because the fashion is for glossy, glass-like, straight locks, I get asked all the time 'Why don't you straighten your hair?'
Well ... do I want to look like everyone else? NO! I like my hair!
