There are a few things to consider when your curl pattern starts to change.
First, ask yourself "what kind of products am I using on my hair?"
If you are using products with a lot of synthetics, waxes, shines etc., your product could be hindering your hair's ability to curl.
Start by using a gentle clarifying shampoo. Then start using only water based styling products and moisturizing shampoos and conditioners. I would recommend the Deva Curl No-poo Shampoo and the one conditioner.
If this doesn't seem to help you can find a stylist like myself, who cuts with the curls. I do an "enhancing cut" that helps encourage your curl.
If all else fails, realize that hair changes as we age. I have known people who have naturally curly hair that has gone straight and is now curly again.
You may want to consider getting a curly perm. Perms are much less harsh on the hair than they were, say, 20 years ago. Just make sure you have a good deep treatment plan ready before and after the perm (you should be doing a deep treatment on your hair already every other week).
Curly hair needs lots of moisture!
Best of luck!

Losing Your Curl by: Tara
I have found that I can increase the curl of my naturally curly hair by flipping my head over in the shower and washing and rinsing it that way. I scrunch it with my fingers as I wash and rinse, then when I get out I keep it flipped and soak out the excess water with a towel (upside down, scrunching), apply product and let it air dry.
