My advice (I got this from my Grandmom) is to try a satin pillowcase.
I started using them over a year ago and I?ve seen a big change, not only with my frizzes and split ends but also with my face. I don?t wake up with lines anymore. My hair seems so much healthier. Even my hairdresser noticed the difference.
A friend suggested I check out A Touch Of Satin on the web. You can check them out at http://www.atouchofsatin.com. They had some fantastic satin pillowcases. I wanted something with flowers on it and they had several to pick from. They do custom orders so I think I?ll do that the next set I get.
It definitely helped the frizz!

The number one thing I can suggest is a good hair cut!
Find a stylist who follows the way your hair curls, and cuts with the curl pattern. This eliminates the bulk and triangular look.
If you are not located near such a stylist, try using a leave in conditioner for starters, followed by a water soluble gel.
Avoid all wax based products. These products coat the hair and create more frizz by suffocating it.
Check out some of the Q&As on this page about product application.
Good Luck!

Using cool not hot water to rinse your hair will help you to maintain your hair in a healthy manner. Additionally your water may have lots of chlorine and or heavy minerals. For shampooing and rinsing your hair add a small amount (a teaspoon of baking soda or a squirt of lemon juice) to the water, use a pitcher made of plastic, not metal. To soften it add just enough baking soda for the water to feel slippery between your fingers.
