My Curls!

I let my curls free about 2 years ago, after winning a voucher for a haircut in a charity tombola!
For years up until then I had worn my hair scraped back into a ponytail or bun, which made my hair appear straight. I had no idea how to care for my hair when I was younger, and my mum and two sisters all had straight hair - I was on my own.
My hair made my school days hell - I was called mop head, and some girls even asked my sister 'what is wrong with your sister's hair?'- even I didn't know the answer to that!! I knew it had curl as when I washed it and it was wet it looked great. I just didn't know how to get it to stay like that the rest of the time.
I am so glad that I won that voucher as it finally set my curls free forever!
