This is a gallery of Keri Russell haircut pictures.
American film and television actress Keri Russell has a natural hair texture that's extremely curly.
Once renowned for her long corkscrew hair, and perhaps more famous for that than anything else, Keri Russell embarked on a hairstyle identity change at the height of her television fame.
In one haircut she lopped off the long curls of her famous hair style.
Since then the Keri Russell hairdo odyssey has seen her wearing short curly hair, short straight hair, medium length curly hair and long wavy hair.
The gallery on this page shows a range of long and medium length Keri Russell haircuts, all of them curly, from different stages of her career - including the early curly days.
One shoulder-length Keri Russell haircut appears in six of our pictures, in the top and middle rows of the gallery, and it's a very attractive haircut indeed.
But looking at the haircuts at the start of both the middle and bottom rows, it's hard to comprehend the need for that radical Keri Russell haircut in the first place - or the need for any Keri Russell haircut that doesn't celebrate the beautiful curls she was born with.
The beauty and appeal of naturally curly hair like Keri Russell's is readily apparent to Virginia Hey, a straight-haired blogger.
She doesn't mention Keri Russell haircuts in her entry of September 24, 2004, which I quote below, but her words about actresses like Julia Roberts and Nicole Kidman apply equally well to Keri Russell.
Here's Virginia Hey's view on women who spurn their curly hair. You can read the original at VirginiaHey.com.

This is something that just perplexes me.. If you have a head full of luxurious God-Given curls that cascade all about you in a Heavenly halo that makes men weep and the rest of the female population sigh with horrific jealously, WHY DO YOU THEN STRAIGHTEN IT FLAT ?????
COME OUT OF THE CURL-CLOSET, FLAUNT IT, LET IT HANG LOOSE, SET YOURSELF FREE, LET IT FLY IN THE BREEZE, GIVE YOUR HUSBAND OR BOYFRIEND A THRILL, GIVE YOURSELF PERMISSION TO BE EXQUISITE, LET US ALL ADMIRE YOU AND DROOL..
I dont know.. I dont get it..
I really dont..
We mere mortals who have straight hair have, in the seventies and eighties, had perms, struggled with the dreaded hot rollers, curling tongs, crimping irons, curling sticks, hair spray, rag curls, and hair pieces in a mighty war to get some oomph and curl and sex appeal to our tresses.. Where-as those blessed with the most sensual looking hair known to man do EVERYTHING in their power to banish the offensive curls!!!!!
Huh?
Look at Julia Roberts.... I was watching "Dying Young" on the telly the other night... OH.... MY.... GOD.... what an incredible mane of hair.. I cried.... How could she hate it??? Why does she get rid of it? Is it that uncomfortable? Does it hurt? Does she REALLY think it's ugly? I dont get it..
Im POSITIVE that her unbelievably gorgeous curly halo is half the reason she became so popular.. and then she got rid of it.. Can we start a campaign to save Julia Roberts Curls?
This is discrimination to curls is it not? Cant we rally to free them from the cruelty of being tortured straight?
Look at Nicole Kidman?? Why oh why... I just am so perplexed.. The girl has about 4 feet of the most beautiful cork-screw hair, the kind that great master artists have labored to capture through the ages, the sort of hair that makes you just flop in a chair with your mouth open its so breathtakingly beautiful.. But she tortures it straight or shoves it under straight wigs and straight hair pieces every second..
Is wrenching curly hair straight a symbol of the ultimate parental rebellion? Is it the ultimate symbol of self controlling and self loathing? Is it the need not to stand out? (Obviously not in Julia's and Nicole's life), is it to rebel against all the hair pulling and teasing as a kid? (Now you know they only teased you because it was BEAUTIFUL hair and they were bitterly jealous, dont you?) Is it a need to rebel against what everyone tells you you should do? Is it a need to strictly remove outward signs of sensuality and sex appeal??? Is it a dire need to be like everyone else less fortunate? Is it a way of proving you make your own decisions?
There MUST be a very deep lying hatred going on inside the Blessed-Ones' heads.. I dont get it..
Youre BEAUTIFUL!!!! Get it? BEAUTIFUL! Express your beauty..
Am I the only person on the planet, apart from every man who ever breathed, who absolutely adores wild mane hair and free tresses?
'Free The Tresses' OOOoo, is that a tee shirt slogan? Nah..
Anyway, its a mystery to me and, quite frankly, as boring as bat shit!
But back to Keri Russell haircuts.
It's the long and mid-length cuts (or un-cuts, one could say) that suit Keri Russell best, so it's good to see her return to long hair at least - albeit wavy rather than curly - in films like The Upside of Anger.
There are no short styles in this Keri Russell haircut gallery but you can find some, if you want, at Keri Russell Short Hair.
Along with pictures of short Keri Russell haircuts the page considers face shape, and discusseswhy short haircuts are not the best option for Keri Russell.
For the opposite end of the Keri Russell haircut spectrum, have a look at Curly Hair and Keri Russell and Keri Russell Hair Pictures, where you'll find more magnificent, extremely, long curly Keri Russell haircuts.
Or Keri Russell hair un-cuts, really.
