Kathy's Hair Style:

I'm originally from Northern Virginia. I moved to Monterey, CA after getting married last February. My husband is stationed here for a year, because he is in the Air Force.

Kathy's Curly Hair Style

My hair used to be very long and instantly turned into a frizzy mess when I hit puberty. I didn't know what to do with it and neither did my mother.

She would buy straightening products from the drug store but they would never work. I would cry for hours because it wasn't straight like everyone elses.

In college I chopped it off to my shoulders, and ironed it straight for several years.

I went back to curly a year ago ... my stylist told me I should just try it. After I found the right products, I found that I save time blowing it dry in the morning :-)

I use Redkin Ringlet and Alterna Texturizing Balm.

Kathy has medium length curly hair in a side-parted down style with a fringe (bangs). Her hair color is blonde.
