How can I get bigger curls for my mixed hair

Hi:

I am mixed with tighter ringlets. I am tired of using curling irons on my hair to get looser waves or much bigger looser curls. I am also tired of my tight ringlets, and I need a change.

I'm thinking about getting a "loose curl perm" for my hair?? Is there such a thing??
