Here's what you'll find among these hairstyles - long curly hair at its best.
Check out Alice Dodd in the middle picture, with her long dark curly hair tossed behind one shoulder and rushing forward on the other. The shapes of brunette curls ripple against her skin and vibrate against the white background.
Nothing comes close to being as beautiful as this.
Unless it's the girl in a black prom dress in the top row, with long blonde curly hair clipped back on one side and swirling around her face and shoulders. The clip is like a pair of flowers in her hair - simple, elegant, striking.
Immediately below her is a picture of actress Eva Longoria at a red carpet event.
Longoria's long, dark brown curly hair is boosted high and pulled right back from her face. The full length of her curls then runs forward on one side, swirling from behind the ear and coiling itself on her shoulder.
You could argue that Longoria's hair is raised too high and shaped too narrowly, standing like a tower above her face and elongating her features.
But both these women, the actress and the blonde girl, are wearing formal hairstyles - long curly hair prom styles if ever I saw them, and down styles at that.
The top row includes three pictures of deceptively casual hairstyles - long curly hair rejoicing in its blondeness and in its loose, free-flowing movement.
But as relaxed as they are, these styles would suit a formal occasion equally well. One of them is already teamed with a thin-strapped, form-hugging dress which, if you met it standing up, would blend into any party scene.
The second picture in the top row, and the picture below it in the second row, again show completely different hairstyles - long curly hair bursting outwards from beneath a tight cap, a lateral explosion of eye-stopping curls.
The bottom row has five diverse hairstyles - long curly hair in luxurious brunette waves, in tousled, beach style swirls ... and in the center picture an artificial mix of curl textures.
This is one of the gallery's most quirky hairstyles - long curly hair matched in color and design to the scruffy weave of a battered old chair.
The same model and the same chair appear at the start of the middle row, complete with a dusty pink flower.
These pictures both have an air of faded elegance and scuffed, threadbare glamor. But they're not the same hairstyles - long curly hair both of them, but arranged very differently above the forehead and building a totally different profile on the sides.
From one picture to the next, the shape of the model's face has changed dramatically. The reason is partly camera angle, for sure, but mostly it's the hairstyles - long curly hair used in such a way as to change, virtually, the whole identity of a woman.
Completing the bottom row are two more hairstyles - long curly hair in the tight corkscrews of Jada Pinkett Smith, and a glorious hairdo where deliciously defined curls build an outward curve, then taper inwards as they descend.
This last picture shows Canadian actress Shalom Harlow, her hair parted in the middle, curling back into her forehead and hugging her cheeks all the way down. This haircut is beautifully rounded and long at the same time.
It's one of those extraordinary long curly hair styles you can't help but follow with your eyes. There's so much to see, and there are so many paths that draw you in to the center.
