It's not like straight hair, where a sideswept fringe can be counted on to stay put, or at least to go back into place without a fight. So lots of curly girls never even consider bangs. Instead, they cling to the safe but boring center part where the hair falls evenly on both sides. Or they straighten their bangs and sweep them to one side anyway, hoping their contrasting hair textures will be applauded as a fashion statement, not pitied as an act of last resort. It's a shame, because curly hair is every bit as versatile as straight hair, and it's way more awesome!
