A curly hair style hair cut can be used for beauty, seduction, or just feeling good about yourself. The women in these pictures use their curly hair with very deliberate intent.
Your curly hair style can subtly or dramatically
change your appearance - not only the apparent
shape of your face, but the whole mood you
convey.
Curly
Hair Cut Hair Style Picture number 5, for instance, is
a cute, fun use of a curly hair style - not
to mention a truckload of cosmetics.
Curly
Hair Cut Hair Style Picture number 12 is a soft, comfortable
invitation, curly hair emphasized subtly by
highlighting but drawn back from the face,
leaving centre stage to the eyes looking back
at the camera with a lazy, seductive intensity.
Curly
Hair Cut Hair Style Picture number 4 is very different
again - curly hair dyed to a harsh peroxide
blonde, styled in an updo with a single broad
curl swept back from the forehead and coiling
down beside one cheek. Bleached skin tones,
vivid lips and heavy, dark lashes highlight
the harsh glare and the bitter, brittle glamour
of this peculiar curly hair style.
Curly Hair Style Hair Cut Picture number 1
is quite the opposite. Here, everything speaks
of softness. The very shape of this curly
hair style is softly rounded as it follows
a graceful curve from forehead to jaw line.
The curls on one side spiral gently down,
continuing the curly hair line and framing
this woman's features with a lacy, feminine
pattern. Without those curls (try covering
them with your hand), her face could look
almost angular.
There's one woman who appears in five pictures
here. Her name is Carre Otis, and her pictures
are interesting because they show how much
you can change your looks by changing what
you do with your curly hair style hair cut.
Curly
Hair Style Hair Cut Picture number 9. Carre
Otis has a strong, almost lean face, with
a firm jaw line and narrow, well-defined chin.
Her looks are striking. The sharp, balanced,
almost chiseled lines of her face are complemented
by a long curly hair style that is tousled
to the max, irregular, disordered, and coloured
beautifully to suit her skin tones. While
leaving her remarkable face completely exposed,
her curly hair creates a lot of volume around
it, widening just at the point where her cheek
bones start narrowing towards her chin. The
look is dramatic, highlighting and celebrating
her strong features and, at the same time,
softening their impact.
Curly
Hair Style Hair Cut Picture number 10. Sunshine
casts a ring of light round the outline of
Carre's curly hair. The light draws your eyes
up to her curls, glowing around the edge but
luxurious and dark where they meet her skin.
Curly hair strands dangle from her forehead
and lead your gaze back down to her face.
There you are ambushed by her eyes, whose
whites form another pair of highlights you
can't avoid. And yet another, a flash of white
from her teeth between lips slightly parted.
Then it's back to her curly hair style - tight
curls snake round her neck and a long tendril
leads your eyes across her throat and back
to the starting point.
Curly
Hair Style Hair Cut Picture number 8. Carre
Otis again, but the emphasis in this photo
is on strength and character, rather than
traditional glamour. It's a stark picture
in black and white, with nothing soft or feminine
about the lighting. Her curly hair style is
swept upwards and outwards, its sense of movement
and its high, wide shape strengthened by the
use of highlighting and low lights. That curly
hair shape is used, like her hair style in
other pictures, to make her face seem less
of a diamond shape. Here it's the height and
width of hair making the forehead look wider,
and drawing attention away from the sharp
angle of her jaw.
Curly
Hair Style Hair Cut Picture number 3. Carre's
curly hair cut is styled completely differently
now, pulled back out of sight, with plenty
of volume on top and a loose, disordered silhouette.
Plenty of curl profiles round out the edges.
In picture number 9 Carre used a curly hair
style that spread wider where her jaw began
to narrow. In picture 8 she balanced those
same lines with a curly hair style that moved
upwards and outwards from the forehead. Here
she doesn't have that option, so instead she
uses bulky, multi-part ear rings to create
that illusion of width, again just at the
point where her cheek bones begin to taper
towards the chin. She leaves a strand of thin
curls dangling on one side, too, further softening
the shape of her face which, though unarguably
attractive, could also appear too sharp in
its lines.
Curly
Hair Style Hair Cut Picture number 6. Carre's
long curly hair cut is used in a number of
interesting ways. It is massed at the top
of her head, from the ears upwards, to give
her face an appearance of being wider there.
her hair is then reigned in deliberately behind
her neck so that it barely show at all between
the bottom of her ears and the line of her
jaw. It fluffs out again below the level of
her chin. This style works well with her face
- a diamond shape widest at the cheekbones
and narrowing from there across the forehead
and towards the chin. Her chosen curly hair
style, wide at the top and narrow at the midline,
gives her more the appearance of an oval face
shape.
