Long black curly hair adds a welcome spark to ABC's Body of Proof with the appearance of Nathalie Kelley, a 26-year-old Peruvian/Argentinian actress raised in Sydney, Australia (yay!).

She wears her curls loose. It's her trademark hairstyle and it works with every persona she adopts - and the script writers thrust a number of these upon her.
Nathalie debuts in Season 2 (Episode 4) as some sort of Goth or punk chick, a wild girl at any rate if her appearance is any indication - that and the thrash metal music accompanying her screeching ride through an underground car park.
Appropriately for a girl with such dark leanings, she transports bodies for the Boston Medical Examiner's Office.

The Wild Child
No uniform for this curly girl, though! Not for her grand entrance, at least.
Instead, naturally, she dresses in black - black jeans, studded belt, spiked bracelets, black leather half-gloves, and loops of silver chain around her neck. Her sole concession to the job is her employer's name in yellow on the back of a form-hugging, sleeveless blouse that reveals significant tattoos on both upper arms - a large rose on her right bicep and a barbed wire motif encircling her left.
Crowning the ensemble is that glorious mane of curly, wavy hair, framing her face and tumbling around her shoulders in cascades of delicious dark curls and waves.
Her nonchalance suggests that she's been doing this job for some time, presumably not in uniform. But clearly she's new to the Boston Medical Examiner's Office, and when cast member Geoffrey Arend first encounters the racy transport driver, he is struck by her unorthodox and darkly glamorous appearance.
"Are you kidding me?" he asks the corpse she's just delivered. "That's Transpo?" He's thinking about more than just the hairstyle, too, because Arend's own curly hair, though short, is every bit as magnificent as Nathalie Kelley's.

The Good Girl
Dani Alvarez, the character Nathalie plays, injects herself with great determination into scene after scene in the office, in blithely unconcerned, even amused defiance of the barely scary Dr Curtis Brumfield.
Yet she transforms pliantly at Brumfield's first complaint into a polite (kind of), uniform wearing, engaging young woman. Her curly hair remains delightfully free though, and as Hollywood demands, her curls are always beautifully defined and gorgeous.

The Party Girl
Dani, or Nathalie, saves her most surprising transformation for Episode 9, when she encounters her crush in the elevator.
For that scene she ups the ante from the flirtatious looks she's been giving him, bringing out the little black dress, the handbag, the makeup and the party mood, investing her long black curly hair with an aura that's completely different - and for a mere male, impossible to resist.
Happily, the producers seem to want Dani Alvarez as a series regular on Body of Proof, so Nathalie Kelley should continue to delight fans of curly hair, pretty girls and the TV show alike.
