There's a hidden celebrity among the bridal hairstyles for naturally curly hair in our gallery.
Her name is Carol Alt, and you'll find a whole gallery devoted to her on our Curly Hair Celebrity page.
Here, in the first picture of the middle row, she wears one of the most ornate wedding outfits you could imagine. And she matches it with one of the simplest bridal hair styles.
Emerging from beneath a wide brimmed lacework hat, her wavy brown hair is tucked behind her ears and falls softly to her shoulders. Dusty pink flowers on one side complete this stunning tribute to antique wedding style.
Nothing quite so exotic exists among our remaining bridal hairstyles for naturally curly hair, but there are plenty of wedding styles here to admire and think about.
Long Bridal Hairstyles for Naturally Curly Hair
Well worth a look is the natural, luxurious hair of the bride in the top row's middle picture.
This woman's hair is drawn back tightly from the face and raised behind, but then flows down her back in loose, tumbling torrents of glossy curls. Part of this cascade is diverted so that rich brunette ringlets stream forward over her shoulders and breast.
It's almost a half up half down style - and this notion is echoed in two more pictures at opposite ends of the gallery.
The first picture in the top row, and the last picture in the bottom row, show how two brides can use similar ideas and still produce strikingly different curly hairstyles.
Part of the difference is the hair texture itself, and that texture virtually dictates the remaining choices for both these bridal hairstyles for naturally curly hair.
The first picture is a delightfully loose arrangement of long, wavy blonde hair that tucks behind the ear on one side and falls prettily forward on the other. The length is half gathered behind and half left free in waves that ripple down the bride's neck and back. Tiny, sparkling decorations suggest the flowers of a Spring wedding.
The similarly half up half down style at the end of the gallery takes a more determinedly curly texture and arranges it to take advantage of the patterns it can build in the air around the face and shoulders of a lovely bride.
This time the bride's hair is gathered high up at the back of the head, so that her curls dance naturally in the air above her. A small tiara helps draw the eyes there. But fully half her long curly hair flows down behind her in warm tones that complement the skin of her neck, shoulders and back.
Diagonally above her in the gallery, in the fourth picture of the middle row, yet another wedding hair style relies on the simplicity of long, loose curly hair for all its elegance and beauty.
The top row has yet another pair of long, loose, bridal hairstyles for naturally curly hair.
The fourth and fifth pictures incorporate veils, but the hair has prominence in both photos. A white flower sits high upon the first style - a blonde, very curly bridal do - while small white flowers highlight the second bride's slightly raised, more wavy hair.
Both styles allow the bride's hair to fall naturally to the shoulders, as do the final long curly wedding hairdos of our gallery - pictures two and four in the bottom row.
Updo Bridal Hairstyles for Naturally Curly Hair
The six remaining bridal hairstyles for naturally curly hair are updos.
The top row's second picture shows very traditional curly wedding updo. A veil attaches to the hair just where a floral band gathers in the raised curls at the back. Delicate strands fall here and there around the bride's face.
Just as traditional are the curly updos shown in the bottom row's first and third photos. They feature careful arrangements of hair raised at the back of the head and decorated with small white flowers or trinkets. Loose strands have been placed with infinite care so as to soften the bride's face.
The middle picture in the middle row captures four beautiful hair styles in a single group. This photograph shows not only a bridal hairstyle for naturally curly hair, but naturally curly hairstyles for bridesmaids as well.
Our last two updos are in the second and fifth pictures of middle row. They represent a very different, much less formal approach.
The second picture in the row shows a loose, casual updo of blonde hair, using highlights and lowlights to accentuate its drama and movement.
The middle row's last picture reveals a very beautiful wedding style indeed. Wavy blonde hair, drawn back and upwards so naturally that nothing seems to support it, floats in the air beyond a red tiara.
Fifteen bridal hairstyles for naturally curly hair. And that's a wrap.
