I started out with a little baby fro. I had no idea of what to do with my hair until I turned 13. Thank God I discovered gel!!

I am biracial and adopted, my adopted mom black and dad white. My Mom kept it braided and my Dad was trying to take me to white hair stylists that had me looking like Annie or Curly Sue with a fro.

Let me just say one thing ... Curly Hair + Bangs = A HOT MESS!! LOL

I have done straight, natural curls, braids, and other assortments. In the end I have grown to love my curly hair. I know I must be nice to it or it will not work with me, especially in the summer time humidity. I thank God for what he gave me even though I may have to get up 20 minutes earlier than the normal straight haired get up and go girl to tame this mess!
