How should I fix my bangs to go with my curly hair and how can I lift my roots? by: Elizabeth, 14 yrs
If you have side bangs like I do, I usually let my bangs go a little curly like the rest of my hair and run a flat iron over it once, real quick, to make it smooth looking. It won't make it flat, but if you straighten a couple of pieces and curl one or two small pieces of your bangs to stand out, it will look cute.
If you have bangs that fall flat in front of your face above your eyebrows where they are so short you cannot brush them to the side, straighten them a whole lot, then get a curling iron and curl them underneath to give them a poof.
You can lift your roots by using mousse and scrunching it in while you are fixing your hair or use root lifting spray when you're done and hold it scrunched up and brush it a bit to tease it.
Hope that helps!!
