I was reading your description and it's very similar to what I did to my hair. I hated my hair when I was younger (I'm 17 now). For the first time, I rebonded my hair at a salon. I loved it. It was long, silky, and shiny. After 6 months or so ... my hair started to grow and my curls began to show & it looked ugly!
For my 8th grade graduation, I rebonded my hair for the second time and it became sooo dry. It was horrible! I had to deal with dry hair for a longgg time. Ugh.
It's just recently I grew love for my curls. I love the comments I'm getting though there are times when my friends push me to rebond my hair again ... 'cause it did look good.
